I have a lot of thoughts during the day, but no one seems to want to hear them. Maybe if I expand my audience, I'll discover someone who cares, or that they are, in fact, stupid ideas.

I’m not really surprised by this, just curious about how it works. Does a Facebook administrator choose events, good or bad, that are important enough? Does this happen automatically when anyone with a Facebook profile dies? Is this just based on their system noticing that a bunch of people were typing “Steve Jobs” tonight, like a trending topic? Does that mean that if half my Facebook friends went to an event and all got food poisoning and shared about it that I might see a story that said “15 of your friends posted about Crippling Diarrhea”, with a link to Crippling Diarrhea’s Facebook Like page?
