Well, the term “South Park Conservative” or “South Park Libertarian” are older than this year. Trey Parker and Matt Stone came out as libertarians many years ago, and South Park reflects that political alignment.
How did that Trey Parker quote about the 2000 election go? “I hate George W. Bush, but I really fucking hate Al Gore”? Was that it?
This was really a terrible series of articles. It didn’t really say much, it was just a couple of young conservatives desperately trying to find something in the media that agrees with and therefore justifies their opinions. The article is really a stretch and a poorly written one at that.
