I have a lot of thoughts during the day, but no one seems to want to hear them. Maybe if I expand my audience, I'll discover someone who cares, or that they are, in fact, stupid ideas.

It was actually incredibly distracting, and the episode was terrible. I noticed the countdown when they got to six and thought it was weird, but if it started at 50 I don’t think it had anything to do with new years… because new years starts at 10. That makes no sense. My brain currently hurts from sitting at work and reading a hundred similar comments on the AV Club about it, where most assholes were speculating that it was counting down to what Marshall found out when 0001 pulled up, a deathclock if you will. I never noticed any order to the numbers, just thought they really wanted us to know the date and thought it was weird that someone would greek a beer can to say 36.
